How it works

  1. Step 1

    Drop your topic

Your story, a struggle, a flex or a message. Add slang, places or names you want in the bars.

  2. Step 2

    Choose a style

Boom bap, trap, motivational, storytelling, battle or lo-fi change flow and wording.

  3. Step 3

    Rap it over a beat

Say the bars out loud, adjust syllables to your flow and keep the lines that hit.

Original rap verses with rhyme and flow

This rap lyrics generator writes a full track: two 16-bar verses and a repeating hook, built around your topic and the style you choose. It aims for what makes rap lyrics work, such as multisyllabic and internal rhymes, punchlines and a flow that stays consistent from bar to bar. Use it to break writer's block, find a hook, practice delivery over a beat or get a starting draft to rewrite in your own voice. The output stays PG-13 and is written fresh each time, so you won't get recycled bars from existing songs.

How to Get Bars That Sound Like You

The more personal the input, the less generic the output. 'A song about success' gets you clichés; 'started rapping in my cousin's garage in Houston, now opening for local shows' gives the model real details to rhyme around. Add your city, your slang, your job, people who matter to you and the energy you want.

Then treat the result as a draft. Keep the bars that hit, rewrite the rest in the way you actually talk, and swap any rhyme that feels forced. The best verses usually mix a few generated lines with a lot of your own.

Matching Lyrics to Your Beat and Flow

A bar is roughly one line delivered over one measure of a 4/4 beat. Rap each line over your instrumental and listen for lines that run long or leave dead air. Long lines can lose filler words; short ones can take an extra internal rhyme or ad-lib.

Trap beats usually suit shorter, punchier lines and triplet flows, while boom bap gives room for denser, wordier bars. If the generated flow doesn't match your beat, switch the style option and regenerate before editing line by line.

What Makes a Good Hook

A hook should be easy to remember after one listen. Most strong hooks repeat a short phrase two or more times and state the whole idea of the track in a few words. Keep it simpler than your verses: fewer syllables, clearer rhymes and room for melody.

If you get great verses but a weak hook, keep the verses and regenerate with a line like 'hook should repeat the phrase all night shift'. Avoid copying a famous hook or lyric; the tool writes original lyrics and won't imitate a specific artist's bars.
