Sometimes you just need a few words that can be read from across the room: a name at the airport arrivals gate, a sign at a concert, a quiet message in a meeting or class, a number for a pickup, or a note for someone who is hard of hearing. This big text tool fits whatever you type to the size of your screen, so one word fills the whole display and a longer message wraps into as many lines as needed. It runs in your browser, works offline once the page is open, and the share link keeps your text inside the link itself, so nothing is stored on a server.

The tool measures your text in the chosen font and finds the largest size at which it still fits the screen without being cut off. Short words therefore appear huge, while a sentence is split over several lines. Rotate a phone to landscape for long single words – the text resizes automatically. Turn on Scroll for a long message that should run across the screen in one line, like an LED sign.

Hold up a name sign when you pick someone up, cheer at a game or concert, show a word to someone across a noisy room, put a reminder on a spare monitor, show a price or table number at a market stall, or display a message during a video call without unmuting. High-contrast themes such as yellow on black or white on black are the easiest to read from a distance.

Copy share link creates a link that opens this page with your text, colours, font and scroll setting already filled in. Send it to someone and they can show the same sign on their own phone. Because the message lives in the part of the link after the # sign, it is not sent to our server when the page loads.
