These are Unicode characters, not a font file, so they paste into Instagram, TikTok, Discord, X and most apps. Some phones show a box for rare characters; screen readers may read them letter by letter.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Type or paste your text

Your name, a bio line, a caption or a gamertag. The preview updates as you type.

  2. Step 2

    Pick a style

Scroll through the styles and choose the one that fits – cursive for a soft look, gothic for a dark one, bubble for playful.

  3. Step 3

    Copy and paste

Press Copy next to the style and paste it into your bio, post, chat or username field.

How fancy text works

The styles on this page are not special fonts. They are ordinary Unicode characters – the mathematical bold and script letters, circled letters, fullwidth letters and similar blocks that already exist in the Unicode standard. Because they are characters rather than formatting, they survive copy and paste into most apps that accept text, which is why people use them in social media bios, Discord names and chat messages. The conversion runs in your browser; nothing you type is sent or stored.

Where fancy text works – and where it doesn't

Most social apps, chat tools and text fields accept these characters. Some places strip or reject them: login and email fields, many usernames, and web forms that only allow plain letters. Very old phones and a few apps may show empty boxes for rare characters – if that happens, try a different style, because common ones such as bold, bubble and small caps are supported most widely. Preview your text in the app before you rely on it.

Frequently asked questions

Is this fancy text generator free?

Yes. It is free, needs no sign-up and has no limit on how much text you convert.

Does fancy text work on Instagram, TikTok, Discord and X?

Usually yes in bios, captions, comments and display names, because the styles are Unicode characters. Some fields such as handles and usernames only allow plain letters and numbers.

Why do some letters show as boxes?

The device or app does not have a font that includes that character. Try another style; bold, bubble and small caps are among the best supported.

Is my text saved?

No. The conversion happens in your browser tab and nothing is uploaded.

Can I use fancy text for symbols and emoticons too?

Yes – switch to the Symbols tab for tap-to-copy hearts, stars, arrows, brackets and text faces.
